Just saw these guys at Warped Tour 2010 Toronto. I'm quite glad that I was in the right place at the right time!! Hailing from the center of musical activity in Nova Scotia, Halifax based Last Call Chernobyl is a group of young men who have come together from various backgrounds to pursue a shared passion of metal music.

Having been formed in late 2007 the band has garnered itself a small but dedicated following in around Nova Scotia and has shared the stage with such heavy musical acts as Means, Orchid’s Curse, We The Undersigned, LifeStory: Monologue, Shortline Hero and What’s He Building in There?, along with countless other large local acts around the province.

Last Call Chernobyl has released the track listing, album artwork and a free song for their upcoming album, "‘Drowning Beneath the Sound of Change," which is set to be released this summer. The tracklisting is as follows:

In addition to playing local shows the band has taken their hard work ethic and can do attitude to new heights. Testament to these is their self booking of tours in multiple provinces in Atlantic Canada and self production and recording of all music. With vigor, determination and a hard work ethic seen in few bands, Last Call Chernobyl is steadily growing and always striving to push the boundaries of its creative limits. The band is poised to continue its onslaught of heavy music and is set to release a brand new EP followed by a slew of shows to promote.

Though many bands are lost in the currents of the modern music business, Last Call Chernobyl is as tenacious as it is hard working. With patience, perseverance and always the perfection of its musical craft Last Call Chernobyl is set to try and make its mark in the modern day music scene.
